Hello all! It's been a while since we had an OAN, but tonight we are resuming our weekly fundraiser.
Since we only have a few people, there will only be two teams available to choose this week. Please choose a team to participate with this week. Just in case you need a reminder, here is an explanation on how to participate: nightorcas.freeforums.net/thread/5/participate
DO NOT SIGN UP unless you can participate on Friday night. Thank you.
There is a special event this week! Instead of simply giving $5 to the winning charity, we will be giving an amount that matches the points won by the winning team. For example, if Team Snake wins and the team as a whole gets 12 points, we will donate $12! Due to the nature of this event, I encourage participants to band together onto one team! The more points won means more money raised, so let's all work on the same team to get as many points as possible. I definitely recommend Team Snake. Our challenge will be taking place on April 22nd, which is Earth Day - but it is also Herp Day! Every year on April 22nd, the Orianne Society celebrates Herp Day. If Team Snake wins, we will be giving the money to their annual Herp Day fundraiser. Also to celebrate Herp Day, every participant can win one bonus point by Tweeting something factually accurate about herps and/or their conservation. Point is one per person, NOT one per Tweet. Make sure to tag @ AkulaEcho in a reply so that I see it.
